Fractal Art Scroll Saw Pattern, Small 3-Layer
Use this scroll saw pattern to create a unique artwork from 3 layers of readily available plywood or hardwood. Generated by a computer using a fractal algorithm, each layer represents a subsequent calculation of the mathematical equation `z = sin(2*zi) - cos(1.2*zr) + j*sin(2*zr) +j*cos(1.2*zi)`.
The fractal layers measure 4" x 4" (102 mm x 102 mm). Pattern includes a basic frame that can be made entirely on a scroll saw, or add your own custom frame. With frame, the piece measures 5" (127 mm) square. The piece can be painted, stained, or left unfinished. Examples shown were painted using water-diluted acrylic paint.
